The Beachbody Blog posted a great article called “10 Popular Diet Tips to Ignore” you’ll want to read the article for the Better Advice, but below I have listed the Bad Advice some of which I have given in the past!

  1. Choose fat-free or sugar-free foods.
  2. No cheating ever!
  3. Stop snacking.
  4. Don’t eat fruit—it’s full of sugar.
  5. If it’s organic, it’s good for you.
  6. Calories in, calories out—it doesn’t matter what you eat.
  7. Try XYZ Extreme Diet—it works for everyone!
  8. When in doubt, order the salad.
  9. Don’t exercise—it’ll only make you hungrier.
  10. Treat yourself for a job well done!
